Hi and a warm welcome on my page, where I share my personal experience from having a jaw surgery to correct my underbite. This correction took place in September 2018 in southern germany. On this blog, you will find first answers on the following questions:

My name is Sven and I am a software developer from germany. With over 30 years I took the decision in 2017 to correct my underbite. Here you can read my story from wrong biting to healthy biting. Here is a first impression from my biting before and after:
On this blog, I share my personal experience with you. Before the operation, I was in desperate need of experience reports on the internet, and was pretty sad that there isn't much to find. This is why I decided, to build this page to give you more of
an experience and an idea what to expect. There's also a FAQ for a first impression and many questions that were answered by me.
I want to give you insights on the reasons for a double jaw surgery, how life is as an adult with braces, how you feel after the operation and much more. This page has several sections, so you can easyily read only the parts that might be interesting
for you.
A few notes: This is the english page, so depending on from which country you're at, the experience/costs/everything else may differ significantly! I hope I still can give you at least some form of idea, what to expect. Also since this page is all build by myself, commentarys are not yet working. You are still very invited, to write down your questions, your own experiences or critcs via mail! If you have your own personal experience that you would like to share with me, just get in touch and share it with me - I will then put it up on this page so others can learn from your experience.
